  • "After having been officially diagnosed with blepharospasm about 5 years ago and being treated with Botox injections every 90 days for 2 - 3+ years with varying degrees of results, I am always looking for new and upcoming treatments for this debilitating condition. My research led me to an internet tutorial suggesting that recently the use of scleral contact lens (custom fitted) have offered relief for some patients. In researching further, I found Dr Nim, an optometrist in the area who has trained for the special fitting of these lens. My first visit was today. Along with being very knowledgeable and professional, Dr Nim was also patient in answering my questions and concerns and seems to be truly interested in following the outcome of this treatment. My new lens are on order and should arrive within the next two weeks. I have every reason to believe the results could be life changing based on today’s trial fitting, realizing of course that Botox injections may still be a necessary part of the treatment."
